Sea Island Habitat for Humanity
Carpenters Club

Purpose
Allow individuals, corporations and foundations to donate based upon
the number of homes built by Sea Island Habitat. Thus, encouraging us to
build more homes for needy and deserving families on Johns and Wadmalaw
Islands.
There are three levels to the Sea Island Habitat for Humanity
Carpenters Club. You are billed on the number of houses set to complete
each year:
Master Builder - $150 per house
Builder - $75 per house
Carpenter $35 per house
If you should become a Carpenters Club member, you will have the
opportunity to -
- tour the Sea Island Habitat neighborhood where
building is taking place
- help in the on-site building of a home with the
homeowner to be
- attend home dedications for the home you helped to
build
- develop everlasting relationships with Habitat Homeowners
Billing
You are billed as a Carpenters Club member every quarter. Your
billing is based on the number of houses in our build plan. For
instance, in 2004, our goal was to build 20 homes. Therefore, billing
followed the below formula:
First Quarter (End of March) 5
Homes
Second Quarter (End of June) 5
Homes
Third Quarter (End
of September) 5 Homes
Fourth Quarter
(Mid - December) 5 Homes
All donations to Sea Island Habitat for Humanity
are tax-deductible
to the fullest extent of the law.
How to Become a Carpenters Club Member
If you are interested in becoming a Carpenters
Club Member, you will join a list of exceptional donors.
All donations to Sea Island Habitat for Humanity can be made either by
check or credit card. In order for your pledge to be appropriately
registered, please mark it accordingly.
